If you choose to rent a boat in Ibiza, we recommend some coves that you can approach with your boat and anchor.
Ibiza is a very popular destination for boat rentals. Boats of all kinds surround the island and discover Ibiza in a totally different way, and many of them are charter boats and sailing boats. In these sought-after tourist destinations, combining a visit by land and by sea is a unique experience.
We recommend the best coves for anchoring in Ibiza so that you can enjoy Ibiza in peace and quiet and without too many tourists. Those who love sailing know that enjoying the coast from boats is something different and very exclusive. The beaches and coves can be visited from a different perspective and without suffering the effects of overcrowding.
If you are looking to appreciate the beauty of the coves of Ibiza from your charter boat, you prefer to spend as much time as possible on board, in an almost paradisiacal environment but safe for you and your loved ones, you can’t miss these coves to anchor in Ibiza:
Cala Portixol
It is a quiet cove, with hardly any crowds, despite its enormous beauty. Some consider it the most beautiful cove in Ibiza. The Cala Portixol is very good for anchoring, at about five metres, with a sandy bottom. However, you will only be able to access it with small boats.
Cala Salada
Another quiet cove. The Cala Salada is somewhat hidden, so there are usually not many tourists. It is an ideal place to blend in with nature because of the amount of flora that surrounds it. Although the cove is sandy, the bottom is rocky and anchoring is recommended at a minimum depth of eight metres.
Cala Conta
With more services in sight and plenty of restaurants, we have Cala Conta. It is a very good option because the waters and the sand are clear and fine: it is a very beautiful cove with an easy anchorage, as the bottom is also of fine sand and only five metres are enough.
Port d’es Torrent
Also with easily accessible services and restaurants, Port d’es Torrent is a sandy beach between two rocky areas. It is like a natural harbour of great beauty, and anchoring is easy, also at about five metres. The bottom is sand and seaweed.
Port Roig
Finally, a slightly different cove. Surrounded by terracotta-coloured cliffs, the “red cove” offers a highly recommended anchorage, at about five metres. The cove has a sandy and seaweed bottom and you can walk around the rocky surroundings on a short excursion that is sure to give you some great holiday photos.
