What is the Blue Flag and why is it important?
Awarded by ADEAC (Association of Environmental and Consumer Education), the Blue Flag is an international quality certification. It is only granted to beaches that:
- They maintain excellent water quality.
- They guarantee sustainable management of the environment.
- They offer security, accessibility, and cleaning services.
- They promote environmental education and respect for the marine environment.
It is a seal that instils confidence in visitors, whether they arrive by land or by sea.
The only 7 Blue Flag beaches in Ibiza (2025)
According to official information published by ADEAC and validated by the local councils involved, these are the beaches that have been awarded Blue Flag status this year:
